Consultant

Since "retiring" from my corporate job as Director of Marketing in 2013, after the birth of my son, I have since been a stay-at-home mom. In 2014, I started 3dot communications, a consulting company focused on helping small business clients tackle projects, their "to-do" lists, and get organized. Clients have ranged from salon owners, to ag companies, health coaches, marketing agencies, hand-crafted cocktail and bitters creators, legal nurse consultants, a tile contractor, and even lifestyle and stylist bloggers.

We welcomed a second child, a daughter, in 2015 and my job duties in addition to running a consulting business, have included managing the chaos, medical appointments, school bus driver, constant snack provider, play dates, adventures, along with public meltdowns, and lots of amazing memories that I am forever grateful for.

When I stopped working in a corporate setting in 2013, the goal for our family was to enjoy time with our children when they were young and to add more work and clients to my schedule as my kiddos began to need me less and less. Here we are in 2021 and I would love to help you.

Agriculture Marketing in Salinas, CA

In 2007, I moved back to my hometown of Salinas, CA and worked for D'Arrigo Brothers, Co. of CA, a produce grower, in their marketing department, and then moved on to Markon Coorperative, also in Salinas. Markon Cooperative is a produce marketing company and here I was able to move up to a Director position, overseeing a small but MIGHTY department of hard-working people. Let me tell you, the people at this company are AWESOME. It was hard to leave them and I still miss them, but in the big picture, it was the best decision for our family.

Publishing in Malibu, CA

Back in California, I began working for CurtcoRobb Media, based out of Malibu, then the publishing company for magazines like The Robb Report, Showboats, Luxury Home, and Robb Report Motorcyling, among others. I was on the circulation side of things and learned about data collection, the importance of being extremely organized, and I was able to write a bit for their mailing campaigns, get creative, and assist with the event planning team, too.

Outdoor Advertising in NY, NY

After a few months out of college in 2003, I packed my suitcase and moved to NYC. I connected with a temp agency and landed a job in advertising at ClearChannelOutdoor which became a permanent position after just a month. For the next year, I learned so much about life, living in one of the best cities on the planet, and got to work with some truly wonderful human beings. The knowledge I gained from the advertising industry - from planning, to media kits, and selling outdoor space, and the work ethic that was ingrained in my being has stayed with me since that time. It truly was the experience of a lifetime.

education
University of California, Davis. 1999-2003

I graduated from the University of California, Davis in May of 2003, after four years, with a B.A. in Communications and a minor in Human Development.

While in school, I was part of the Delta Gamma Sorority, worked part-time at 24-Hour Fitness, and managed to make the Panhellenic honor roll as well.
